As an English teacher at a local charter school in Corpus Christi, Texas, I try to reserve time for dancing, history, and reading  which are my passions.  I spent a majority of my childhood in Virginia along the Potomac River.  My family moved to Texas, when my father retired from the USMC.  I graduated from East Texas State University in 1986.

I joined  Thea's classes in 1999 for some much needed exercise, not knowing that the curious little spark would become a consuming flame. 

I am very blessed.  I have a loving, supportive husband and poetic, belly dancing daughter. They are my #1 fans,and both fill my life with joy and endless laughter.
